Project: Bunny Project
Mrs. Traci Aipperspach - Cardston Elementary School
Goal: Create and develop a program centered around the use of bunnies at the school to assist with a variety of student needs.
Description: Have a dedicated student who is the "Bunny Specialist" that helps care for them at the school. The bunnies have served multiple purposes, they had students specifically in mind that would benefit from caring for and spending time with the bunnies but have noticed that many other students have also benefited. While helping students take responsibility it has also given many students another purpose to come to school. The bunnies have helped many struggling students that are in need of regulation or students that simply need some space. Aftering interacting with the bunnies, students have been able to feel refreshed and ready again to come back to class for learning opportunities, it has been a huge success!
