Administrative Procedure 430: Appendix A: School Handbooks
Background
In order to facilitate and enhance communication, all principals are required to develop school handbooks.
Procedures
- Handbooks shall be updated regularly, no less than once a year. All school handbook updates shall be forwarded to the Superintendent for approval prior to printing.
- School handbooks shall not contain information or procedures which contravene or contradict Division policies or procedures or provincial regulations.
- A copy of the school handbook shall be made available to each student and/or family within two (2) weeks of the commencement of the school year.
