EPISODE 31: Tanya Keto; Executive Function

"Never underestimate the impact you can have on a child's life simply by slowing down and meeting them where they're at," Tanya Keto.

Executive Functions (EF) are mental processes that help to connect our previous experiences with present actions to guide our behaviours.

In today's podcast, Tanya explains that we all have strengths and weaknesses in our executive functions; however, individuals with ADHD and Learning Disabilities may experience increased difficulty in developing and using these functions compared to their peers.
