Young Minds Spark Discovery at Magrath Elementary's 4th Annual Science Fair!

More than 30 young scientists proudly presented their innovative projects at Magrath Elementary School's 4th Annual Science Fair on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. The event in the school's Black Box Theater attracted enthusiastic students, families, teachers, and community judges, creating an exciting atmosphere buzzing with curiosity and discovery.

Participants from grades 4 to 6 showcased an impressive array of projects spanning numerous STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) topics. From creatively designed experiments and research projects to detailed demonstrations, students eagerly answered questions from judges and visitors, confidently explaining their research methods, findings, and real-world applications.

Judges, including dedicated community members and school staff, generously volunteered their time to provide meaningful feedback and encouragement. Their dedication was evident as they visited each student, offering them valuable experience in scientific communication and critical thinking.

The Science Fair concluded with the promise of an exciting awards ceremony scheduled for Friday, March 21, at 11 a.m. in the school's auditorium. Selected participants are also encouraged to represent Magrath Elementary School in the upcoming Lethbridge Regional Science Fair (SciFusion) and Science Olympics at Lethbridge Polytechnic on March 28-29.

Congratulations to all participants for their inspiring achievements!
