Westwind School Division Implements New Personal Mobile Device and Social Media Procedures

Starting September 1, 2024, Westwind School Division will implement new administrative procedures regarding the use of Personal Mobile Devices (PMDs) and social media. In accordance with Ministerial Order #014/2024: PMD and Social Media Standards, these measures are designed to foster a focused, distraction-free learning environment by restricting the use of PMDs and access to social media during instructional hours. Exceptions will be made for students with documented medical needs.
