Education - Educational Behavior Consultant
I was born in Cardston and have lived in Hill Spring, Lethbridge and Fernie for varying amounts of time. I graduated from Fernie Secondary School and have attended University of Lethbridge for my Undergraduate courses and degree, as well as my Graduate program. I am an Educational Behaviour Consultant here at Westwind School Division #74. I completed my M.Ed. Counselling Psychology practicum under the supervision of Conrad Boehme (School Psychologist) during the 2012-2013 school year and since then have graduated from the University of Lethbridge with my Masters in Education - Counselling Psychology. In the summer of 2013 I was hired as a Eduational Behaviour Consultant, and have been working out of my office in Raymond Junior High School since that time. I do travel across the entire district, as needed, to work with students, teachers, staff, parents and to perform assessments.
I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor, and I am also a Registered Provisional Psychologist (under the supervision of Mr. Boehme). I work with students, teachers, school counsellors, parents and external agencies (when required) to assist your children in achieving their potential - whatever that is for them. I also have a background in assistive technology, learning strategies, post secondary supports for students with disabilities. Here at Westwind School Division I do psychoeducational assessments, assistive technology assessments/training, as well as personal counselling, along with consulting and working with a number of teams within the district.
When not at work I enjoy my family time, outside activities like hiking, fishing, horseback riding skiing, and generally anything outdoors. I am always looking for new adventures and learning opportunities.
